Piano: Wolfgang Gangkofner
Born in Lower Bavaria, Wolfgang Gangkofner is a composer, pianist and teacher with international training - including in Munich and Stockholm. After working in Sweden and Berlin, where he also became known for his popular house concerts in Winterfeldtdtraße, he has been teaching composition and piano at the Conservatoire de la Ville de Luxembourg since 2021.
Wolfgang Gangkofner plays works by César Franck, Claude Debussy, Pierre Boulez, Olivier Messiaen and Fryderyk Chopin at Ohrpheo.

About Wolfgang Gangkofner
Wolfgang Gangkofner, born in Lower Bavaria, came to the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Munich at the age of 16 as a junior student. After graduating from high school, he continued his studies in composition and simultaneously majored in piano. After completing an artistic diploma in both subjects and a master class diploma in composition, his path led him to the Kungliga Musikhögskola in Stockholm in 2005, where he graduated in piano chamber music in 2007.
Gangkofner has been a sought-after teacher for several years. From 2008 to 2012, he taught classical piano at the Eskilstuna Music School in Sweden.
In 2013, he moved to Berlin, where he taught privately and at various music schools. During these years, he played regular house concerts as a pianist in his apartment in Winterfeldtstraße, which were very popular.
In 2021, he was appointed as a teacher of composition and piano at the Conservatoire de la Ville de Luxembourg.
