Master class Amit Dolberg. On Saturday, 11.05.2019, selected students will have the unique opportunity to work with the exceptional musician for individual hours in the Ohrpheo Music Studio.

Repertoire: Contemporary piano music from Schoenberg and Webern to the music of the early 21st century.After a brief introduction by Amit Dollberg, there will be the opportunity to present the selected piano pieces.Specific questions such as interpretation, notation, touch, pedal, preparation, contemporary ensemble playing and the use of electronics will also be dealt with, as well as questions on contemporary piano improvisation.

Amit Dollberg is one of the leading Israeli interpreters of New Music. Many important composers have written works for him that he has premiered worldwide.

Dolberg is founder and director of the International Chamber Music Meitar Ensembles, the Center for New Music in Tel Aviv, The Matan Givol Composers Competition, the Tedarim M.mus in Contemporary Music at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance, and the CEME International Festival for New Music and Master Classes. He is a founding member of the Tempera Ensemble, with whom he recently won the Binyamini State Prize for Best Ensemble of the Year.
