You are looking for a grand piano to practice in Berlin? Preferably in Prenzlauer Berg? - Our Boston grand piano from Steinway can be rented by the hour. You can also rent our studio at Jablonskistraße 15, 10405 Berlin for events and celebrations. And of course we are happy to advise you on the purchase of a musical instrument.

Course in New Music (VIII) - The Zero Hour (about serial music)

Instructor: Andreas F. Staffel

After a long summer break, our course on New Music will begin again on Friday, September 30. In the eighth module (The Zero Hour) we will deal with serial music in the period 1949-1957.

Works by Messiaen, Stockhausen (piano pieces), Boulez (Le marteau san maître) and Luigi Nono (Il canto sospeso) will be heard. As always, explained on the grand piano and with historical film and sound examples.

Our violin teacher Inobat Akhmedova was born in 1965 in Tashkent (Uzbekistan), studied at the Moscow State Conservatory. She has many years of experience as a musician and music teacher.
