Intoxication – a staged song recital with Margarete Huber, soprano, and Andreas F. Staffel.
On a cold winter evening, two friends meet... They listen to old records and music cassettes. Increasingly moved and intoxicated, they begin to make music themselves. A breathtaking journey begins. Starting with the mystical sounds of the Middle Ages, they end up in fairytale castles and ballrooms, hotel bars and harbor taverns. After a sudden crash on the street, they meet an alien who is convinced that there is life on Mars. Join them and us on an intoxicating journey with music from the 11th to the 21st century.
A song recital about spirituals and spirits with arias, songs and piano works from the 11th-21st century (H. v. Bingen, Händel, Mozart, Debussy, Ravel, Moser, N. Hagen, Strauß, Weil, Porter, Staffel and others)
Free admission (donations welcome)
