At their concerts, the CheeChees, a girl group from the wild south of Berlin, throw themselves with heroic dedication into their mission to charm the world with the wonderfully awkward coolness of their performance and their inimitably unprofessional Berlinitude - and they sing like a handbag full of rainbows.

The CheeChees welcome the Swedish Girl Åsa Okutani as a guest, supported on guitar and mandolin by Christian Bauer. Åsa grew up dancing and singing in Sweden, studied jazz at Berklee College in Boston and lives and teaches in Östersund in the far north. She and Christian met on a dance floor two years ago and have since performed together a few times. Today they have brought their very own Swedish sound world with them, which sounds excitingly "different" to German ears and dramatically expands our image of Sweden. Viva Åsa & Chris!
