An instrumental concert and yet the spaces that are sounded and structurally fathomed are poetically determined by poetry (Virginia Woolf, Heinrich Heine).
Dürer's enigmatic "Melencolia", Heine's cynical funeral song, Virginia Woolf's reflections on finiteness, pain and death, "Im hohen Holze", dialogue between four different "Hautbois" with tape.
The thoroughly prepared piano leads into deep, internalized sound, strange, rough. The oboe instruments - archaic, pure, lyrical, cutting, - counterpoint and merge again and again in unexpected ways.
